The Japan Society has secured a reduced price group booking to see this live-action take on Naoki Urasawa’s ace manga series which is densely plotted and rich in character. A major hit in Japan last year the film is inspired by the T-Rex song of almost the same name and follows a young man as he attempts to unravel the secret of the sinister conspiracy known as ‘Friend’. The globe-hopping plot builds up to a spectacular showdown on the eve of the new millennium - man vs machine against the backdrop of bustling Shinjuku! The films runs for 142 minutes and has English subtitles. For further information on how to get to the ICA please visit the ICA website.
