Asiana to air The National Theater of Korea’s Performances in the Cabin


Asiana Airlines (CEO: Young-Doo Yoon) held a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) signing ceremony on the 2nd of November at the National Theater of Korea (CEO: Young-Chul, Lim) located in Joong-Gu central Seoul. Asiana Airlines, in an effort to globalize and raise awareness of the traditional Korean culture, have decided to air the 16 of the National Theater of Korea’s affiliates (The National Drama Company of Korea, The National Changguk Company of Korea, The National Dance Company of Korea, The National Gukak Orchestra of Korea) master piece performances to be aired in all the international flights of Asiana Airlines. Passengers will now be able to view the 16 master piece performances of The National Theater of Korea’s through the AVOD (Audio Video on Demand) systems inside the cabins of Asiana Airlines.

Asiana Airlines and The National Theater of Korea have also signed an agreement for Asiana club members to receive discounts to admission fees when viewing performances at The National Theater of Korea. Asiana Club members will receive a 30% discount of the admission fee starting off with “Doong Doong Nakrang-Doong(Classic Tale of Princess Narkrang and Prince Ho-Dong) ” to be performed at The National Theater of Korea starting on December.
