KCC will hold a Workshop for children that will be accompanying the designmade Exhibition. Designer Yu will lead the workshop where children will be making Korean Lanterns in the shape of fish from traditional Korean paper .
A lampshade made from traditional Korean paper and bamboo is used as a basis for this new design. The resulting illumination from this blend of old and new creates a special light with its own story.
Schedule
Introduction to traditional Korean paper (5 mins approx.)
Instructions on how to make Mulgui (5 mins approx.)
Lamp Workshop (90 mins aapprox.)
Interesting ideas with the off-cuttings of traditional Korean paper (20 mins approx.)
