Japan Day is an annual charity event run by the University of Sheffield Japan Society to celebrate Japanese culture and encourage links and understanding between the local residents in Sheffield and Sheffield's Japanese community.
There will be an exciting variety of performances and stalls, including taiko drumming, a demonstration by the Great British Kendo Squad, aikido, karate, calligraphy, origami, tea ceremony, games, anima/manga, and the list goes on.
Proceeds from the events will go to Make a Wish Foundation and the JAL Foundation.
