지난 9월 12일 EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) 이사 부인들의 모임 행사가 한국인 이사 부인 이규양씨의 주최로 런던 주재 주영 한국 문화원에서 열려 화제를 모았습니다.아래는 이규양씨의 인사말 입니다.Respected guests, Good afternoon and thank you all for devoting your time to join this special event. The idea for this meeting was first formed when I attended a spouses’ program in EBRD’s annual meeting which took place in Kiev last May. That day, I had a wonderful and lasting experience learning about the culture of Ukraine, which was all around me. It was so special to me that I decided it is not enough to simply receive, but Koreans should introduce their culture to people in the EBRD as well........(이하생략).이날 행사는 다양한 국적의 이사 부인들이 참여 하여 한국의 독특한 의상과 차문화를 경험할수 있는 큰 계기가 되었으며, 또한 정 지은씨의 가야금 연주및 웰컴투 동말골과 같은 영상물을 감상한후 직접 전통 떡을 빚어 보는 시간도 맞이 할수 있어서 한국 문화를 널리 알릴수 있었던 뜻깊은 자리가 되었다고 합니다.
