Tanaka Mineko, President of TONDAYA, a kimono wholesellers in the Nishijin district of central Kyoto will exhibit a variety of kimono styles and offer us a talk and demonstration about kimono dressing. Please join us to welcome Tanaka-san, enjoy vibrant kimono, and conclude across from the Hall with a glass of champagne and, if you choose, to stay for supper at Wolfe’s Restaurant. Wolfe’s is kindly offering attendees of the event only, a 2-course meal at £25 payable on the night. This includes a choice of Kobe beef, chicken, fish, and vegetarian option with all drinks 30% off the regular price. If staying for supper, please book by 3 November at the latest.
Please assemble at 5.15pm if going on the usual optional tour of the Hall. No tickets will be issued but you will receive confirmation of your place.
