Date: 20 September 2008 - 30 November 2008 Venue: Venues across LiverpoolThis year, the fifth edition of the Liverpool Biennial marks the tenth anniversary of its inception. Entitled MADE UP, the 2008 Biennial’s international exhibition features approximately 40 projects by leading and emerging international artists, including Yayoi Kusama and Atelier Bow Wow. In her work, Gleaming Lights of the Souls, Yayoi Kusama has created a small, mirrored room, filled with a constellation of small LED lights, giving visitors an other-worldly experience through the infinite chain of endless reflections. Atelier Bow Wow, artist duo, Yoshiharu Tsukamoto and Momoyo Kaijima, have constructed Rockscape, a stepped, Greek theatre styled structure which will host scheduled performances, as well as being an excellent vantage point from which visitors can view the cityscape.
